Learning Objectives

The goal of this course is to give you an overall understanding about the essential construction elements in Archicad through modeling a contemporary summer house. The focus is on getting comfortable with the various Archicad modeling tools both in 2D and 3D views. Besides learning to model, you will get familiar with the available settings of the modeling tools so you can configure them according to your needs. The workflow is simplified so you can focus on the geometry creation on a fundamental level instead of configuring the nitty-gritty details of elements. It is not the goal of the course to give you in-depth explanations of features and settings.

Recommended Learning

We recommend you to complete one of the Getting Started with Archicad courses before this modeling course so you are up to date with the foundations of BIM, the Archicad user interface and some basic principles. 

Software Requirements

Videos in this course have been created using the International language version of Archicad which means that the work environment and some of the content may be different if you are using a different language version.

Awards

Completing the course material, including the quiz with a minimum of 60% achievement and filling out the satisfaction survey, will award you points towards achieving the Archicad BIM User Certification.

Access Time Frame

Enrolling in this course will grant you 180-day access to the training starting on the day of enrollment. After the 180 days have passed, you will be deactivated from accessing the content of the course.
